Janet K. Snyder, age 81, passed away peacefully April 6, 2021 at Kingston Hospital. She was born in Liberty, NY on December 21, 1939 to Robert and Dorothy Kyrk of Sullivan County. She was retired from New York State Workers' Compensation Board.

Survivors include her daughter Kathryn Snyder of West Park, grandchildren Rachel Stauble of Highland and Owen Stauble of West Park, great-granddaughter Beatrix Gruner-Mestey, two brothers John Kyrk of California and Arnold Kyrk and his wife Elizabeth of Livingston Manor, nephew Randy Kyrk and his wife Johanna of Yonkers, and their children Jackson and Kelsey. She was predeceased by her son Raymond “Peter” Snyder and two brothers William Kyrk and Donald Kyrk.

Janet had a wonderful, caring, generous personality and a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Janet is under the care of Ramsey's Funeral Home in Liberty, NY. Per her wishes, she is being cremated and there will be no funeral service. A memorial service may be scheduled at a later date, and the family will notify loved ones when and where that service is scheduled.
