Saturday’s gloomy weather cleared up just in time for Jeffersonville to put on the green for the village’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Hitting its 13th year, the parade, sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians Sullivan Brothers, filled Main Street with revelers from inside the county and out and filled businesses with hungry patrons.
Honored at this year’s event was Pete Cummings, a parade regular who was named this year’s grand marshal. At 92, Cummings has served the community for six decades as a member of the Jeffersonville Fire Department, even attending the most calls of any fireman in 2024.
