The Jeffersonville Area Chamber of Commerce will be re-opening the “Jeffersonville Farmers Market” on Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jeff Bake Shop! June 1st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be festivities at the Catskill Outdoorsman (located at 4882 State Rte. 52, Jeffersonville) First a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for both the Catskill Outdoorsman and Jeffersonville Cigar Shop. There will be live music from multiple bands & DJs, mouthwatering delights from food trucks, and exciting outdoor activities. Indoors, enjoy an electrifying round of glow archery. All proceeds from this extravaganza will be dedicated to the Jeffersonville Volunteer First Aid Corps. Come on out, bring family and friends, and make a meaningful impact towards helping to ensure the JVFAC life-saving services continue uninterrupted.
The Jeffersonville fire Department is hosting their 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 20th with Tee Time - 12:30 p.m. at the Villa Roma Resort Golf Course. Registration is at 11:30 a.m. Cost $100 per golfer/4 player teams. Includes 18 holes of golf and lunch on the turn. There will be door prize/raffle as well as other raffles, 50/50, putting contest, closest to the pin and long drive. Tuesday, May 21st for a Tribute to ABBA, May 29th for a Tribute to John Denver and Olivia Newton John, June 4th for the Doo Wop Show and October 15th for a Tribute to Billy Joel. The Town of Fremont’s 140th Memorial Day Parade’s theme for this year is the 143rd New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment 1862-1865. The Veterans Memorial Service is at 9:30 a.m. at the Veterans Monument next to the Town Barn. Members of the Sullivan West High School Band will be performing. The parade steps off at 10, ending at the Fremont Park where food and beverages will be available at the Concession stand. Music-Flag Folding Ceremony to the family of Dennis Bernitt. Veteran’s Memorial Service in Long Eddy at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery and in Obernburg at 3 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
