The Sullivan County Ancient Order of Hibernians is holding their Annual AOH Fellowship Golf Outing at the Swan Lake Golf & Country Club on Saturday, June 12th with an 11 a.m. Shotgun Start (registration at 10 a.m.) Scramble Format Tournament for Men and Women – 18 holes. Cost is $85 per player (includes greens fees, cart, burgers & hot dogs on the turn) Raffles and lots of fun for everyone! Social distancing will be followed. To register and for questions please call (845) 807-7980. The “Catskill Region Antique Car Club” will return to Main Street Jeffersonville, parking at the “Jeff Bakery” (big pink building). They will be cruisin Jeff on Wednesday June 16th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The rain date will be the following Wednesday night, June 23rd. Come to town and visit with the members, looking at the beautiful vehicles from the past… so many good memories from days gone by. Overnight counselor positions available for responsible, mature persons age 18 and up who will supervise groups of 8-25 children. Day camp positions are available for age 16+ years. Fine Americana music will fill the air the evening of Saturday, August 14th at The Backyard Park located at 876 Swiss Hill Road North, Jeffersonville. Sponsored by Jeffersonville JEMS three international and local talents will serve up several music genres for the audience to enjoy. This open-air show begins at 6 p.m. with Amy Gallatin, a fine and appealing bluegrass vocalist who will deliver a range of songs with warmth, sincerity and an acoustic style. Her performance will be smoothly supported by Stillwater’s, stalwarts of the New England bluegrass scene who will add a bit of classic country flavor. Slam Allen, 2016 BMA Nominee for Best New CD by a New Artist, will entertain you with his unique blend of soul and blues. Slam Allen's music and enthusiasm have been shared all over the world, including at The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Allen has been leading singer and guitarist for the legendary James Cotton Band. Cotton was connected to Muddy Waters, a major influence in the blues world. A local multi-talented favorite, Justin Sutherland, will join in on this special night. Justin plays the piano, saxophone, guitar, drums and harmonica. He writes, composes, arranges and sings his own music. Tickets can be purchased prior to the concert date for $25 at The Secret Garden (located at 4917 State Rte. 52 – next to the Jeff Post Office) or call Sue at (845) 482-5354. Ticket’s sales will be limited. Guests are reminded to bring lawn chairs and blankets and sorry, no animals are permitted in the park.
