The Farmers’ Market has returned to Jeffersonville on Sundays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Run by the Wild Russet Farm and hosted by the Jeff Bake Shop, the market is located in the bake shop’s (large pink building in the middle of Jeffersonville) parking lot. The market will run through October and offers fresh organic vegetables, farm raised meats, distilled spirits and fresh-made jams made by Eileen Reimer!

Boy Scout Troop 106 of Jeffersonville will be holding their Annual Chicken BBQ on Saturday, July 17th from 3-6 p.m. with Take Outs only $12. To take place at the Presbyterian Church Hall (next to the firehouse) Pre-sale dinners available for pickup until 5:50 p.m. For tickets or more information call them at (845) 482-5136.

Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. is thrilled to host its 14th Annual Golf Classic at West Hills Country Club on Monday, August 9, 2021. The Youngsville Fire Department is hosting a “Golf Classic” Scramble Tournament on Saturday, August 14th with a rain date of August 15th at the Swan Lake Golf & Country Club (38 Eagle Drive, Swan Lake) with a Shotgun Start at 10 a.m. They would appreciate all teams registered by August 1st at $70/person (registration after that date will be $75) There will be prizes, gun raffles, and 50/50. The Jeff Jamboree is being held on Saturday, September 18th, and will once again host the Annual Tractor Parade with Jim Hughson organizing it as usual. The Internship Program is a partnership between Sullivan Renaissance and the Center for Workforce Development that provides paid work experiences for Sullivan County youth between the ages of 16 and 20.

In addition to caring for gardens and public spaces, interns participate in weekly meetings where they discuss current issues, meet with local leaders, develop leadership skills and explore career options. Sullivan Renaissance also offers two scholarship programs that are available for volunteers who make a significant contribution to a Renaissance-funded project.
