Americana music will fill the air the evening of Saturday, August 14th, at The Backyard Park located at 876 Swiss Hill Road North, Jeffersonville.

The gates open at 5 p.m. and the open-air show begins at 6 p.m. with Amy Gallatin, a fine and appealing bluegrass vocalist who will deliver a range of songs with warmth, sincerity and an acoustic style. Her performance will be smoothly supported by Stillwater’s, stalwarts of the New England bluegrass scene who will add a bit of classic country flavor.

Slam Allen will entertain you with his unique blend of soul and the blues. He has played all over the world, including at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. He has also been the lead singer and guitarist for the legendary James Cotton Band.

A local multi-talented favorite, Justin Sutherland, will join in on this special night. Justin plays the piano, saxophone, guitar, drums and harmonica. He writes, composes, arranges and sings his own music.

Tickets can be purchased prior to the concert date for $25 at The Secret Garden (located at 4917 State Rte. 52 – next to the Jeff Post Office) or call Sue at (845) 482-5354. Tickets may also be purchased on line, follow the Jeffersonville JEMS fb page for more information.
