Come visit the Farmers’ Market in Jeffersonville (located next to the Jeff Bakery, Main Street) every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. They have a variety of products to offer and live music too! The “Save the Lake Jeff” group is accepting donations again for their Yard Sale that will be held at the Jeff Jamboree on Saturday, September 18th. On Saturday, September 18th between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. there is a “Christopher Pekny’s Annual Memorial Motor Show” being held at the Robin Hood Diner in Livingston Manor. All show motors are $20 and you are responsible for your own vehicle. Vehicles and vendors please contact Jen Pekny at (845) 807-7109 to enter. Anything with tires and an engine are welcome! Food and beverages will be served, a 50/50 raffle and prizes too. All donations are welcome.

Reminder: Jeff Jamboree with a delicious Pancake Breakfast at the 1st Presbyterian Church -you can takeout or eat under their large tent, at noon the Tractor Parade and the Duck Race at 2 p.m. Family fun with 30 Vendors, DJ Jim, Nick Thony, and Butch Peters with his beautiful draft horse team for free rides too! The United Reformed Church (located at 3990 State Route 52, Youngsville) will be holding their Annual Drive-thru Chicken BBQ on Saturday, September 25th from 4 p.m. until sold out. All tickets are $12 and there will not be any seating available. You will drive-thru and your order will be brought to your vehicle. Great service! I enjoyed a visit and delivery from Rianne Erlwein, and her mom, from the Myers Century Farm (located at 112 Earl Myers Road in Jeffersonville) last Sunday. Rianne brought me two containers of some of the best ice cream ever that she is making at the farm! A “Muddy Boots Brownie” - Chocolate with chunks of brownies and Chocolate ice cream. I am a real chocolate ice cream lover so the Muddy Boots Brownie Chocolate was my favorite! Rianne has her creamery at Myers Century Farm offering creamy good ice cream –delicious flavors, vanilla bean, chocolate, maple cream, cookies & cream and cookie dough and more as well as assorted ice cream Cookie sandwiches.
