A new business is opening! “The Cacklin Hen” (located at 4054 State Route 52 in Youngsville) is opening Monday’s thru Saturday’s from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and has lots of delicious food to offer! Tickets for the Frank Sinatra Event on Saturday, June 18th are here and available for purchase at The Secret Garden Gift Shop (located at 4917 Route 52 – same building as the Jeffersonville Post Office). Tickets are $45 and include tasty appetizers. Wine, beer & non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are limited to 80 and they are selling fast. Winkelried Biergarten will host an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages on Saturday, April 16th from 10a.m.-1p.m. Bring your Easter Basket (or make one with them!) and hunt for Easter eggs filled with all kinds of surprises! Sullivan Renaissance announced that its 2022 scholarship applications are now available. Sullivan Renaissance Scholarship: The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, through a donor-advised fund established by Sullivan Renaissance, offers a limited number of scholarships to Sullivan County residents who volunteer in a significant way with a Renaissance project. Scholarships are announced in August and are applied toward the 2023 spring semester at an undergraduate college of one’s choice. SUNY Sullivan Scholarship: The SUNY Sullivan Foundation will also award scholarships ranging from $750 to $1,500 for Sullivan County residents attending SUNY Sullivan.
