August 4 – Ride @ Survive-Sullivan County, Inc. is a community based volunteer organization whose mission is to assist with transportation expenses for Sullivan County residents or those receiving treatment locally, who are under the care of an oncologist and who have been diagnosed with cancer or pre-malignant conditions.

They are Friends Helping Friends and an all-volunteer effort. Since its inception in 2013 and through December 2021, they have dispersed over $279,000 to more than 1,260 community members.

Applications are available at Garnett Health Medical Center-Catskills, Harris Campus and Crystal Run Healthcare or can be downloaded from the Ride 2 Survive website, www.ride2survivesullivancounty.org.

To make a donation to help support their efforts, you may send your check to Ride 2 Survive-Sullivan County, Inc., P.O. Box 282, Youngsville, NY 12791.
