My “Cub Reporter” Jack Costello recently gave me information to share about “Sullivan 180 Community Health Champions”. Sullivan 180 is a nonprofit organization created to turn around the health and wellness of Sullivan County.

The group is currently recruiting and training local Community Health Champions to serve as healthy living champions and coaches for friends, neighbors and colleagues who are ready to improve their health.

The Community Health Champions are trained volunteers who work in their own neighborhoods, churches, and civic organizations. They work one on one and with small groups of Wellness Circles helping those wanting to take proactive steps in improving their health and lives.

For more information please contact Meaghan Mullally-Gorr, Director of Health & Wellness at 845-295-2685 or via email to mmullally-gorr@sullivan180.org.
