Reminder: Come out to the Jeffersonville Fire Department's 99th Annual Roast Beef Dinner on Saturday, October 19th from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Adults are $13, Children ages 5 to 12 are $6, Under 5 are free. All take out dinners are $13. Enjoy a family style dining experience served family style.

The 6th Annual Craft Fair will be held at the Youngsville Firehouse on 1822 Shandelee Road in Youngsville, on Saturday, October 19th too. The craft fair will be open to the public from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Youngsville Firecrackers will have hot dogs, chili, macaroni salad, and other refreshments for sale.

At the recent Village of Jeffersonville Board meeting, the JEMS (our beautification group) was presented with a “Beautification plaque” for their 2019 winning project, by Helen Budrock from the Sullivan Renaissance. Congratulations and thank you for a job well done!

Jack Costello asked me to remind everyone he placed containers throughout Jeff at Main Street businesses to collect money to help fight the battle against childhood cancer. When you are in one of our businesses, please put your loose change in the container to help with this great cause. Of course, larger donations are always welcome too.

“Walk 4 Rides” sponsored by the “Ride 2 Survive Sullivan County, Inc. is having an event on Sunday, October 20th on Main Street, Livingston Manor. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the Walk at 10 a.m. Come walk or run to help them raise funds to help defray costs of transportation for local cancer patients. 100% of the proceeds go to this great group. Also, tickets are on sale now for their 7th Annual Ride 2 Survive Fundraiser Dinner Dance on November 16th at the Villa Roma Resort in Callicoon. The Annual Halloween Costume Parade will be held on October 31st with line up at the Schadt Memorial Bridge at 6:30 p.m. following the Trick or Trunk in the Backyard Park in Jeffersonville. Costume judging is at 7 p.m. at the Jeff firehouse. Dress up in your best costume and come out to have a great Halloween night !
