A big “Thank You” to Jim Hughson and wife Diane for putting together a great Tractor Parade for the Main Street Jeffersonville Event last Saturday!

Everyone had a wonderful time in town, taking a wagon ride with Butch Peters (wife Liz helped too) and his beautiful draft horse team, enjoying a tasty Pancake Breakfast at the 1st Presbyterian Church and walking through the Yard Sale to discover and pick up some treasures!

The Annual Duck Race had to be changed to a Duck Raffle with a cute Daisy Duck pulling the lucky winners! Ruth Duncan won 1st place, Ana Steppich won 2nd, Cindy Robertson won 3rd and my Cub Reporter Jack Costello's daughter Laurie from Texas won the Pokey Duck award.

The day was sunny and there were some younger (children) tractor drivers and a hay wagon full of family members too! Many thanks to all of the volunteers that made it a fun family day.

Congratulations to Maggie Herbert, daughter of Joe & Katie Herbert! Maggie was presented an “Outstanding Certificate” award from the Sullivan West School Board for her outstanding academic performance as top of the Career and Technical Education Class of 2020. Maggie is currently studying equine science at SUNY Morrisville.
