Gentle reminder: Saturday, October 5th is “Founder's Day with a touch of Oktober Fest”! A delicious Pancake breakfast will be served at the First Presbyterian Church, the Annual Tractor Parade, a Pie Contest/Auction will be held at the firehouse. The 6th Annual Craft Fair will be held at the Youngsville Firehouse on 1822 Shandelee Road in Youngsville, on Saturday, October 19th. The craft fair will be open to the public from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Youngsville Firecrackers will have hot dogs, chili, macaroni salad, and other refreshments for sale. Anne from the Cutting Garden in Youngsville invites you to an informal “Save Seeds with Them on Sunny Sundays” event. September 29th or October 6th from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Bring scissors, paper bags, a marker and a curious mind! Learn some of the basics of seed saving, collect some seeds, and have some fun in the autumn air. They will harvest seeds from the garden and talk about how to properly store them over the winter. These are sunny day only events. (Rainy days aren't good for collecting seeds) Fee for materials is $10.
