To the editor:

The weekend before election day I had not yet decided how I would vote in the Mayoral election [which is happening today]. I consider both of the candidates to be respected and qualified residents.

But, on Saturday, I was visited by both candidates. I was VERY impressed. Each, separately, took the time to stop at my house and explain their positions, and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. They really listened and offered well thought out answers.

By the end of the day I had decided who I would vote for based on well considered, good information. More importantly, I was confident that whichever candidate won, Jeffersonville would be a winner.
