Jessica Molaskey and John Pizzarelli set to open Cabaret Series

ELDRED — The 2023 Bradstan Cabaret Series will celebrate its opening night with a stunning performance from Broadway veteran Jessica Molaskey on Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m.

Molaskey will be joined by world-renowned guitarist and husband, John Pizzarelli, with whom she annually shared a two-month sold-out engagement at the Café Carlyle for over a decade.

“We are thrilled to open The Bradstan Cabaret Series with such esteemed performers as Jessica Molaskey and John Pizzarelli,” said Chief Operating Officer Scott Samuelson. “The performance not only kicks off the 10-show series, but heralds in summertime in the Sullivan Catskills.”

Lauded as “the Astaire-Rogers of the cabaret world” by Time Magazine, the married duo has been described as sophisticated, jazzy, and engaging.

Molaskey is a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows, including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s “Sunday in the Park with George,” which was nominated for nine Tony Awards. Pizzarelli has performed on America’s most popular national television shows such as “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Conan,” “Great Performances,” and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The 2023 Bradstan Cabaret Series lineup includes returning favorites like Jeanne MacDonald and the Callaway sisters (Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway), and welcomes other artists like Sally Mayes, Mark Nadler, Edmund Bagnell, Lumiri Tubo, Steven Brinberg, Sullivan County native Patti Greco Sunshine, and comedian Tom Cotter.

Tickets are on sale now at theeldredpreserve.com/cabaret.
