Kathleen Edna Christ passed away with her dog, Lucky at her home in Brooksville, Florida on August 16th.
Kathy spent the majority of her life in Lake Huntington, NY. She owned and operated Mountain Lake Meats then Lakeview Luncheonette in the 90’s. She then retired with her husband, Pete Christ, in Florida. After Pete passed away she became a hospice caretaker. Kathy loved dogs, reading, and arts and crafts, especially ceramics and painting.
Kathy was a beloved and deeply admired mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. Kathy is predeceased by her mother and father Catherine and Arthur Speakman and her husband, Peter Christ. She is survived by her children, Frank Ennis and Dana Grisafe, and grandchildren Vanessa Grisafe, Colleen Grisafe, Amanda Clark, and Tiffany Ennis.
Kathleen will be laid to rest on September 21st at the Fosterdale Cemetery at 11am. A celebration of life will follow at Lakeview Pizzeria.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for memorial donations to the rescue where Kathy rescued her dog, Lucky, from- Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida or the rescue her granddaughter, Vanessa, fosters and volunteers with- Halfway There Rescue in Fort Mill, SC.
