KAUNEONGA LAKE - To make sure everyone gets their summer of safe outdoor fun, food, and shopping the Town of Bethel and the Bethel Local Development Corp. will kick off the 5th season of the Kauneonga Lake Farmers' Market with Fisher & Kean and the Sunshine bus and over 20 vendors.

Starting Saturday, June 26, the Kauneonga Lake Farmers Market will welcome back its food, art, artisan, and green vendors in the same location on Mall Road. The outdoor fresh air market will operate every Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. through Sept. 4th rain or shine.

The Market will have a fabulous array of veggies, herbs, baked goods, coffee, pickles and condiments, cheese, jams, flowers, art, jewelry, eggs, plants, meat, milk, yogurt, honey and other wonderful items that enhance the Farmers' Market shopping experience. Some vendors will accept pre-orders. More vendors and local products will become available as the summer growing season progresses.

In addition, we are inviting our community partners and sponsors: Bethel Council of the Arts, Bethel Business Association, Public Health, Office of the Aging and others to participate.

The Market is committed to ensuring the safety of all participants and ask anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to stay home. Masks and CDC compliance requirements will be followed for the safety of all.

As patrons, we need your help in keeping the Market a safe place to purchase your favorite agricultural products. Doing so will assist in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. Safety and health are everyone's concern.
