I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, either spending time with family or friends or both. And now that Thanksgiving has passed it is time for all things Christmas!!

The Lake Huntington Presbyterian Ladies Aid Society would like to thank all our bakers, volunteers, and community members who helped make our Election Day Bake Sale and food basket raffles a success!!! We are truly blessed to live in a wonderful community called Cochecton. Blessings to all this Holiday Season! Merry Christmas!!

I love that our communities offer so many different events to celebrate the holidays. Here are a few different events taking place locally:

Please join the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church at our Christmas Carol Sing- All are Welcome!!! Join the members of the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church, and our community members to attend our first Christmas Hymn Sing on Friday, December 15th at 5:30pm. We encourage everyone to call Vicky Krauss at 845-932-8923 so we know how many people will be attending and how much soup, hotdogs, and cookies will be needed. We will be singing classic Christmas songs and Christmas hymns. Free and Fun for all! Merry Christmas!

On December 2nd, come to the Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance Park in Lake Huntington, NY, as we come together to celebrate the spirit of community and honor the dedication of our incredible volunteer members in EMS. Beginning at 4:00, they will be planting fall bulbs and at 5:00, experience the magic of the season as they illuminate the park with a dazzling display of red and white lights, representing the unwavering commitment of our volunteer members in Emergency Medical Services with a tree lighting ceremony. Hot cocoa and snacks will be provided.

Holiday magic will also be happening on December 2, from 4-7:30 pm on Main St in Narrowsburg. This free event will consist of the annual tree lighting on the deck, cookies and hot refreshments, horse drawn carriage rides, and more. Co-presented by the Narrowsburg Chamber and Tusten Youth Commission.

Join the Chi Hive Gym & Wellness for an Open House & Holiday Party on December 2nd, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM!  Enjoy FREE open gym all day, Kids Open Play from 3p-4:30p, and explore a playful, safe and supportive community.

Try classes for free, meet our trainers, and learn about our offerings. Celebrate the holiday spirit with treats and healthy libations. Drop in for a tour, classes, and festive vibes! Located on Main Street in Narrowsburg.

Santa Claus will be at the Delaware Youth Center on December 2nd from 12 – 2 PM. There is a $5 donation/photo and all monies benefit the Delaware Youth Center. Photography donated by Jeanne Sager Photography.

Dickens on the Delaware will take place on Saturday, December 9th (12 – 6 pm). Callicoon will be transformed into a Winter wonderland with holiday trees, festive wreaths & streets filled with holiday lights!

Shops, galleries and restaurants will highlight their Holiday goods and dazzle town visitors with their Holiday Spirit. Shopkeepers will be dressed in Victorian costumes!!

Callicoon retailers will all stay open until 8PM to highlight the beauty of the historic town in the evening, where town visitors will be able to warm their hands by outdoor fire pits.

Callicoon restaurants, bars and pubs will feature holiday food and cocktail specials, along with eggnog and hot chocolate to get visitors into the holiday spirit!!

Come to Callicoon, NY for the holidays and dress up as your favorite Dickens character or indulge in a Victorian costume.
