June is rolling in like the cool breeze after a sweltering day, signaling the end of the academic grind for many. Yep, school’s wrapping up, and you can practically taste the freedom in the air! No more lectures, no more exams—just the sweet promise of summer stretching out before us.

To celebrate the life of Paul H. Furk, family and friends are having a barbecue and gathering in remembrance of Paul. Please join us at the Stony Brook Hunting Clubhouse on Brook Road in Cochecton/Lake Huntington on June 8th, 2024 from 2 - 5 pm. The clubhouse is a few miles past Paul’s house on Brook Road.
The Lake Huntington Lake Association is holding a raffle with the proceeds going towards the well-being and care of the lake. The drawing will take place on July 6, 2024, view their Instagram page at https://instagram.com/lakehuntingtonny for more information and where to purchase.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is excited to announce that Katie’s Cafe, our community free lunch, is back! Join us on the first Saturday of every month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. This beloved tradition, located at 31 Erie Avenue, Narrowsburg, NY, has been serving our community for over 10 years, and we’re thrilled to bring it back after a pause due to Covid. The Zerbini Family Circus is coming to the Delaware Youth Center on Thursday, June 6th at 6:00 PM. Advanced ticket sales are encouraged. You can purchase online https://delawareyouthcenter.org/zerbini-family-circus or in person at Delaware Youth Center, Riverside Remedies, Mike Preis Insurance, or The Cacklin’ Hen. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. This is a rain or shine event.
There will be a free Rabies Clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets on Wednesday, June 5th from 6-7:30 PM at the Morningside Park Pavillion located at 638 Brickman Road, Hurleyville for Sullivan County residents only. Please bring a photo id as proof of residency.
