Hello all my readers, hope you are all living life and loving it.

All the members of The Town of Cochecton Republican Club would like to say thank you to everyone who came out and made their election day Chicken BBQ a sellout. I was told they cooked 350 chickens, which I have to say was really good. I enjoyed selling the 50/50, and chatting with everyone, the winner was Dave Calkin.

I truly want to thank the 382 people who voted for me on Election Day. Supervisor Gary Maas said 454 people came out to vote, and there are still 27 absentee ballots to be counted.

Gary Mass is the Supervisor, Maryann Oumrim Town Clerk, 2 Town Justices are Steve Sauer and Craig Fine, Highway Superintendent Kevin Esselman, Town Tax Collector Eileen Hennessy (me). There are 2 open seats on the town board, one seat is taken by Sean Nearing and the other seat is still open until the absentees ballots are open and counted. The two candidates are John Nober and Kambri Crews. Best of luck to all in 2022, we are blessed to live in a great town.

I was talking with Richard Ross and he was telling me about the Sullivan West Bulldogs win on November 5 Saturday night. Richard said No. 1-Seeded Sullivan West defeated No. 4-Seeded Pawling the defending champion 42-24. The Bulldogs travel to play No. 2-seeded Spackenkill on Saturday, November 13 at 12:00 noon. Spackenkill beat Roscoe 38-24 to advance to the championship game vs. Sullivan West. The Bulldogs last won a sectional football title in 2014. Richard said he took a lot of photos and you can view them on www.sportsiny.com. Congratulations to the Sullivan West Bulldogs and best of luck on your next game.
