Happy March! The days are starting to get a bit longer and with moving the clocks ahead on March 13th, we will get an extra hour of daylight! I am looking forward to warmer days and less ice!

Happy March! The days are starting to get a bit longer and with moving the clocks ahead on March 13th, we will get an extra hour of daylight! I am looking forward to warmer days and less ice!

Lakeview Pizza & Bar in Lake Huntington will be hosting their Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on Thursday, March 17th starting at 4:30 pm. Dine in and take out are available. Call ahead to make a reservation, 845-932-8131.

On Saturday, March 19th, the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Jeffersonville, NY will take place. There will be a pancake breakfast at St. George's Church which begins at 8am.

The parade line up is at Noon on Willy Ave. The parade begins at 1pm. After the parade stop by the Winkelried Biergarten on Main Street for a fun party! Butch and the Elevaters play live! Irish food, drinks, and a doggie parade and costume contest will take place.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has released some of their upcoming concerts and events for the 2022 Season. Some artists that will be performing this year are Shawn Colvin, The Who, Phish, Thomas Rhett with Parker McCollum & Conner Smith, Steely Dan with special guest Aimee Mann, and Josh Groban. There are numerous other events and happenings, too. Check out their website for more information and tickets.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of William Percy Niemann who passed away on February 22nd. Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to Youngsville Fire Department, 1822 Shandalee Road, Youngsville, NY 12791 or to Jeffersonville Volunteer Ambulance Corp., 49 Callicoon Center Road, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Theresa Campfield who died on February 27th. May your family find peace in the memories you shared together.

Aaron Terpstra, a recent Sullivan West graduate, and volunteer firefighter lost his life in a workplace accident recently. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser held on March 11th from 5 – 6:30 PM at the Sullivan West High School Cafeteria. $10 per person and take out will be available.
