November 14  — Thanksgiving will be here before you know it! So hard to believe November is half way through and the long winter days are around the corner.

The Narrowsburg Union is proud to exhibit the work of Lindita Lushaj as part of their Winter Show. Beautiful photographs of Lake Huntington will be on display and prints are available for purchase. Proceeds from the print sale will go directly to The Lake Huntington Lake Association to protect the lake’s ecosystem. Artist reception will be held on December 10 from 2-4 PM.

Recently three members of the Lake Huntington Fire Company plus others from around the county participated in the Sullivan County Engine Company Operations Refresher. Thank you for all you do to keep our towns safe.

Mark your calendar for the Annual Holiday Parade taking place in Jeffersonville on Friday, November 25 at 7 pm. Santa will be making an appearance at the Jeffersonville Bake Shop at 4:30 pm as well.

Exciting news the Villa Roma will be open for skiing again this season with an anticipated opening of December 23. With 3 ski runs and a tubing hill the Villa Roma is the perfect spot to learn to ski and meet up with friends by the fireplace in the ski chalet.

Deep restorative yoga to take place upstairs in the cozy loft at Yoga by the Lake. This practice will make use of all of our existing props helping practitioners to deeply relax into soft and gentle postures for participants of Restorative Yoga in the Loft. Located at 43 Nearing Road and taking place on Wednesdays at 6 PM. Classes are $15 and include 1 hour of restorative practice, breath-work, meditation, after practice homemade treats and tea. Come learn how to make your own Holiday Wreath with Catskills Curated. Price is $30 per person. Ticket includes the class and everything you need to make and decorate one wreath. This December, The Farmhouse Project is excited to host two annual Holiday Makers Market in Livingston Manor and Kingston, New York. A modern interpretation of the traditional craft fair, the Market will feature talented artisans from studios and workshops throughout the region.

On December 3 & 4, from 10 AM – 5 PM the Market will be held in the bright and airy Greenhouse and Barn at The Arnold House, in Livingston Manor, New York.
