As I sit and write my column I am also watching the Oscar Awards, Al Pacino is one hot-looking old man. Thanks to the $8.99 a month I pay for my Netflix account I got to see Two Popes, The Irishman and so many other good movies. I have to see a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood with Tom Hanks and also Once Upon A Time in Hollywood with Brad Pitt. I really do not watch that much TV, but I do like a good movie sitting in my chair crocheting and, of course, on my iPhone on Facebook.

I started the year off a little depressed because I did not have any vacations or concerts planned for 2020. Thanks to Facebook my sister and I hooked up with 2 of my older cousins in England, and we are renting a house in Galway Bay, Ireland for a week, to see my other Irish cousins. My cousin Donnie, who is my pal has a daughter in Florida so we will go down there for a long weekend. I got tickets to see Charlie Daniels and The Marshall Tucker Band, Arlo Guthrie with Judy Collins. I am sure I will see some concerts at Bethel Woods also so life is good.

Sullivan West High School PTSO The Gridiron Club is participating in a fundraiser where there is nothing to buy or sell for the next 4 weeks. All we need is your support and your gently worn, used or new sneakers. (Cleats as well). The sneakers we collect will help support our program as well as individuals in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti, Nicaragua and Bolivia. Collection areas will be posted soon or I will gladly pick them up from you. You can reach Michelle at (845) 701-3993, swgridironclub
