As you all know I write my column on Sunday nights. If I know I am going to be busy I will do it on Saturday, sometimes even Friday. One thing I wonder is who reads it, who likes it, who is it going to drive nuts. Well I got an email and a phone call about daylight savings time. I said forward and I was wrong. Thank you to Marie McGuire and Nancy Lee for correcting me, they taught me a little jingle. Spring Forward, Fall Back.

Late Saturday night my brother and I were driving back up from Queens and I put the key in my front door at 1:59 a.m. and sat in my chair at 3 a.m., kind of weird. HAPPY SPRING.

REMEMBER March is the last month you can pay your town taxes in the town hall. I will be there on Tues., Wed. and Thur. 4-7 p.m. If you need it to be on a weekend send me a email taxcollector@townofcochectonny.com. You can always get your tax information on line at taxlookup.net.

This weekend is going to be fun going to see Shrek the Musical that is being put on by Sullivan West Musical Production Club. The dates are Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m., the price of tickets are adults $10, students $6, seniors free. Sunday special family 4-pack $24, family 5 pack $30. Tickets will also be available at the door or by contacting JennaSayers at sayerersjen@swcsd.org.

Cochecton Youth Commission - there is so much going on your best bet is to check out the Facebook page New Cochecton Youth Commission. A lot of fun stuff. Facebook is a great source of information you can also check out everything the kids are doing in Sullivan West.
