What great weather we had on Sunday! I was working the St. Patrick's Day Lunch for The Knights of Columbus. Not many people stayed to eat, most were take outs. It was so nice to be doing something for the community and seeing all the familiar faces.

We got talking about the Corona Virus and about getting the shots. They were telling me that if you get the Covid-19 shot you must wait 3 months before you can get a mammography. Has something to do with the glands.

Cochecton Youth Commission is really trying to keep the kids busy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Follow them on Facebook for upcoming events.

2021 tax season. VERY IMPORTANT! If you are paying online make sure that you are paying the March amount, not the amount that is showing when you sign on.

You must go to the penalty section of the tax bill and get the right amount. I will not be able to take your payment if it is not the correct amount.

If you cannot pay by March 31, 2021 when my books are closed out, you will have to wait till the county starts collection. If you would like to pay online there is a 3% fee that goes to the credit card company. You can always send me an email at taxcollector@townofcochecton.ny.org. I will get back to you within a day.

I know next Sunday is Palm Sunday but I am willing to be at the tax office to collect taxes from 11am-2pm. I only need to collect 2 percent to beat last year's number. We can do this!
