Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying this lovely weather. Spring has sprung, driving through Lake Huntington you will see that Genco Fire House Antiques is open on Saturdays from 10-3. Fosterdale 4 Corners Country Corner Store is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11-3. They are now carrying fresh goat milk, charcoal soaps and added antiques to the store, along with her Llama fiber that she turns into yarn for sale. On Route 17B Fire House Antiques and Collectables is open Saturday and Sundays 10-3. After Memorial Day Weekend, they will also be opened on Fridays. Looking for something to do take a ride and check out these cool places.

Lake Huntington Lake Association's annual raffle tickets are being sold, they are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. 1st Prize: Kayak and Paddle, 2nd Prize $150 Dicks Sporting Goods Gift Certificate, 3rd Prize $10 Cabela's Gift Certificate, 4th Prize Basket of Cheer. These gifts are sponsored by: American Electric, Cochecton Oil and Gasko and Meyers. The drawing will be held at the conclusion of the annual meeting; winner need not be present to win. If you are interested in tickets, I am helping to sell them. You can send me an email and I will hook up with you.

Cochecton residents clean up day will be on June 12 and 13, 9a.m.-2:45p.m., items may be brought to the old town hall 116 CR116 Lake Huntington. If you have any questions you can give Maryann the town clerk a call at 845-932-8360 x 11. I will try to have more information for you next week.

The Women's Community Club of Cochecton is offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live within Cochecton. Please see Sullivan West H.S. Guidance Office for details. A short essay about community service must be submitted by May 25th.

Cochecton Youth Commission's next trio is to Claws “n” Paws Wild Animal Park. Sunday June 6th 2021 Signups will be held at the Cochecton Town Hall on Tuesday, June 1st from 6:30-7pm. As always, free to Cochecton Youth! Adults and out-of-town participants will pay at the door of the zoo. Claws “n” Paws is located in Lake Ariel PA. Please keep the families of William Daub and Betty Backer in your thoughts and prayers. They both passed away. Christmas tree shopping will not be the same without Betty. May they both rest in peace.
