My Covid test was negative. I went and visited Olga and Carol at the Roscoe Nursing Home and they are both doing ok and hanging in there.

On my way home I wanted to get some more apples to make homemade apple sauce so I went to Peck's Market in Callicoon. It was like old home week, I saw Larry Richardson, Steve Dheil, and Cathy Barnes. It was almost like a little vacation getting out of the house and seeing old friends.

I was talking to Pam Deman about the WCCC Pampered Chef party fundraiser. I will have numbers next week for you. Pam was telling me that my buddy Bob is feeling better and loving life.

The Cochecton Youth Commission would like to thank the 50 children who stopped by the Cochecton Town Hall and picked up there pumpkins and goodie bags. Remember when you are carving your pumpkin send your pictures in.

CYC likes to share the projects the kids do. Please follow them on Facebook for all the upcoming events. CYC would like to welcome Heather Neidert to the board. Heather's first event was the pumpkin pick up, she did great, was a pleasure to work with her.

The Knights of Columbus Knights Trunk A Treat will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 12 Noon at Holy Cross Church, Rt 97, in Callicoon. Volunteers are needed to set up their trunks (11:30 a.m.) and have candy, available for the children. Trunk set up is 11:30 a.m. Social distancing and mask required. For more info call Grand Knight James (Teddy) Laffin (570) 493-1660.

There are still some tickets left for the Election Day chicken BBQ on Tuesday, November 3rd from 4-6 at the Lake Huntington Fire House, drive through only. The price of the ticket is $12.00. Please call Ed Grund for ticket information (845) 252-7363.

Because of the Covid-19 Virus mandates The Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church Ladies Aid will not be selling the bake goods at the town hall this year on Election Day. They will be having a bakeless bake sale. I will have their little poem next week, it's cute.

If you helped the ladies out in the past by buying one of their yummy cookies, brownies, cakes or breads please support them this year by sending a donation to LHPC, Grace Cole Treasurer, 407 Acto Rd, Beach Lake, PA 18405. You will not have to go food shopping, use electric and spend time baking. Look how many calories we will all save, sending a check is sugar free and fat free.

Keep smiling and have a great week, you can e-mail me at leeniebeans@citlink.net or call 845/252-3568 if you have any news, my new deadline is on Friday.
