NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please Take Notice. The Town of Callicoon will hold a public hearing on July 12, 2021 at 7:15pm at the Town Hall, 19 Legion Street, Jeffersonville, NY, to solicit comments on proposed Local Law #1 of 2021 - A Local Law Amending the Zoning Law (Chapter 203) to add Section 203-59-Renewable energy generating systems. This is a second hearing to solicit comments on the April version since updated. The proposed law establishes regulations for both small-scale and commercial-scale solar and wind systems and geothermal systems. A copy of the local law is available for viewing at www.townofcallicoon.org or at the Town Hall. Verbal comments may be made by the public in person or written comments on the proposed law will be accepted until Monday, July 12, 5:00PM at PO Box 687, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.
