Libraries are making adjustments

Libraries across the County are taking measures to help slow the transmission of COVID-19, from cleaning, to promoting social distancing, to closing for extended periods of time. During this time, remember that all libraries offer online services 24/7. Visit your library's website to access ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines.

Browse the dozens of databases each library offers. This might be a great time to learn a new language using Rosetta Stone Library Solutions or check out the historical newspapers available online. Did you know that there are movies and documentaries available on OverDrive? This is the same app you use to access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks. All you need is your library card.

At Western Sullivan Public Library, patrons can stream films at home using Kanopy. You'll have access to educational, entertaining and enriching films, as well as a collection of films just for kids. If you live in the Sullivan West School District and do not have a library card, please call one of our branches, leave us a message, and we will set you up so you can start accessing all of our online materials.

Please call your local library, or visit their website or social media page, for more information on closings during this time of uncertainty. We are all working together to help our communities stay healthy and safe.
