Margaret C. Ellison (Peggy) of Owego, NY, formally of Grahamsville, NY, died on December 19, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1939, in Carbondale, PA. Daughter of John F. Cadden and Delores Briggs, both of Carbondale, PA.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Halloran and her husband Jim and children Michael (Alicia) and great- grandsons Braeden and John, Kevin and Sean (Janna) and her daughter, Kathleen. Sister-in-law Jean Cadden, nephews John (Angela), James (Lori), Robert (Natasha) and her niece Maureen Fitzgerald (John).

She was predeceased by her loving husband Miles R. Ellison, Jr., her parents, brother John Cadden, and her loyal and loving pets.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation and the scattering of her ashes will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, ASPCA of Sullivan County or the Humane Society of the United States.
