MONTICELLO - Elementary students throughout the Monticello Central School District celebrated Halloween on Friday, Oct. 29 as they paraded around their schools and community in costume. Led by School Resource Officers Michael Barrett and Rose Ionta in their police vehicles, students at the Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School and George L. Cooke Elementary School showed off their costumes to an audience of their cheering classmates, teachers and staff. Students at the Emma C. Chase Elementary School paraded through the streets of the Village of Wurtsboro. The creative costumes, bright crisp skies and pure joy made for a beautiful celebration.
