MONTICELLO –– The 92-room Hampton Inn on 29 Golden Ridge Road in Monticello opened its doors on June 17.

General Manager Jennifer Haberle told the Sullivan County Democrat that they look forward to, “Bringing accommodations to the area and providing great service to our guests.” Haberle reports that while the hotel is open, their pool isn’t, but should be soon.

Hampton Inn Monticello is still accepting job applications. Interested candidates should email Haberle at jennifer.haberle@hilton.com.

On Hampton Inn’s opening, Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development President/CEO Marc Baez said, “It’s another national brand that came to Sullivan County [and] rooms we desperately need to be able to provide product for the increased number of people now visiting and traveling into Sullivan County, particularly during the summer months.”

Town of Thompson Supervisor Bill Rieber Jr. said they are very pleased to see the new Hampton Inn open its doors to guests.

“This will serve as another nationally flagged property in Thompson’s growing business district,” Rieber said. “We have made great strides to make this district inviting for many new retail businesses and the efforts are paying off. Thompson continues to lead as Sullivan County’s leading economic driver.”
