HIGHMOUNT – County schools descended the slopes on February 2 at Belleayre mountain. Monticello boys won both the morning and afernoon races, and the Monticello girls finished first and second in their trips down the slopes.
Austin Hartman and Samuel Rein exchanged first and second place finishes. Fallsburg’s Colin Pavese finished third in both races.
Alexis Heins and Lucia Kennedy finished first and second respectively in both races on Thursday morning.

Boys Basketball
Tri-Valley and Tuxedo squared off on Thursday for a non-league matchup. The Bears put together a strong offensive performance, led by Matt Fanslau’s 21 points en route to a 62-34 win. All nine of the Bears contributed in the total team victory.
Wrestling
Fallsburg and Tri-Valley took on New Paltz on Friday, and New Paltz won 65 to 6 and 6 to 0 respectively. Arianna Gonzalez accounted for Fallsburg’s lone six points via forfeit.
