MOUNTAINDALE - Join in on the fun at the Mountaindale Rail Trail Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, behind the Mountaindale Fire House on the beautiful rail trail, hosted by the Kiwanis of Woodridge, New York Foundation, Inc. Free Admission! Rain date: Sunday, September 26.

There will be a Scavenger Hunt on the Rail Trail for children aged twelve and under as well as a pumpkin painting contest and other games, with prize drawings for the contestants. Vendors will be showcasing their wares and Kiwanis will be having raffle drawings for fabulous prizes that both children and adults will enjoy. It will also be a very short walk to downtown Mountaindale where you can enjoy the beautiful shops and delicious foods from the local restaurants.

While you’re here, take a walk on the beautiful trail of the former O&W Railroad that runs from Mountaindale along Silver Lake to Woodridge and then on to the Neversink River.
