New SCVA Dove Trail sign unveiled

Posted

NARROWSBURG — The hamlet of Narrowsburg saw the installation of the 61st Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) Dove Trail sign after the unveiling of the brand new land marker outside of Eagle Valley Realty on November 22.

The latest Dove Trail sign brandishes a light blue background overlayed by a multihued orb of sunlight as a stoic American Eagle flies above a yellow house with a ‘sold’ sign just next to it, highlighting the services provided by Eagle Valley Realty.

Since 2014, Eagle Valley Realty has been owned and operated by realtor Dawn Curreri.

The sign’s design was illustrated and painted by Tusten resident Brandi Merolla, who now has designed two SCVA Dove Trail signs within the town, among other projects.

A total of 61 Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association Dove Trail signs have now spread their wings all throughout the county after the unveiling of this brand new sign.

The original 50 SCVA Dove Trail signs were installed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock music festival, taking the shape of the universal symbol of peace and love, a dove.

There are currently plans to create and install at least 10 more signs in the future.

For more information on the Dove Trail, please call the Sullivan County Visitors Association main office at (845) 747-4449.
