Nine Monticello High School students celebrated as Students of Distinction

MONTICELLO – On November 14, 2024, in the high school library, nine students were recognized as Monticello High School Students of Distinction. The Monticello Student of Distinction Award was created to recognize and award students who have demonstrated behavior and/or achievement above and beyond expectations. 

These students have been nominated by their teachers and have been chosen among several nominees to receive this quarter’s award. Each student is celebrated today and will be celebrated throughout the school year. They are a shining example of excellence in our school community. 

Opening remarks were given by Principal Jennifer Gorr who also stood in to present some of the awards. The following students were recognized.
