The NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show is scheduled to start today, February 4, through February 9 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA. The nine-day event is the world’s largest outdoor show, and is a celebration of everything great about the hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions that millions of NRA members and the public treasure.

In 2014, the NRA took over the Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, PA and called it the NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show, and since then it has become a most popular annual event and a major factor for improving the local economy. Exhibitors and show attendees from Pennsylvania, as well as around the country and the world, travel to the PA Farm Show Complex each year, contributing $75 million to the local economy.

More than 175,000 people attended the NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show in 2020 but unfortunately in 2021 COVID-related governmental restrictions in the state of Pennsylvania prevented the show from being held as scheduled and it was canceled.

This year’s show will have more than 1,100 exhibitors covering 650,000 square feet of exhibit-hall space, with outdoor and shooting-related products on display, from firearms and accessories to hunting and archery equipment, fishing tackle, boats, ATVs, RVs, trucks and more.

The schedule also includes country music concerts, fundraising dinners, guest speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars and demonstrations, and see fishing demos at the 2,500 gallon hawg tank.

Your entire family will enjoy the many activities available at the show. Visit the air gun range and compete to see who is the best shooter in your family. Visit the Kid’s Trout Pond for some fishing action, and observe the amazing canine acrobatic abilities of dogs at the Dock Dogs pool. There will be a Friends of the NRA Banquet Dinner with a live auction and the famous Wall of Guns raffle. With all this activity going on it’s easy to see why the Great American Outdoor Show is so popular and why people keep coming back year after year.

Regular adult admission is $15, but it’s hard to see everything in just one day, you can purchase a two-day pass for $25. There are also special rates for children, seniors and groups. Children five and under and guests who purchase or renew their NRA membership at the show receive free admission.
