SHANDELEE – The internationally acclaimed violin and piano duo, Nikita Borisevich and Margarita Loukachkina, will perform the sixth concert at the 29th season of the Shandelee Music Festival (SMF) on Thursday, August 18.

“An Evening of Chamber Music” with the Borisevich Duo will feature the works of Beethoven, Grieg, Paganini, Saint Saëns and others.

The Borisevich Duo was a recipient of the inaugural Young Artist Development Series Award at The El Paso Pro Musica Festival in collaboration with the Peabody Conservatory, and has been invited to do a residency at El Paso Pro Musica Festival and Sitka Summer Music Festival.

In 2019, the Borisevich Duo performed at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts as part of P.L.A.Y the Classics, a collaboration of the Shandelee Music Festival and Bethel Woods.

William Riddle, Artistic and Executive Director of Venetian Arts Society in Florida said, “Nikita and Margarita gave a magical and diverse performance with extraordinarily nuanced artistry, virtuoso fireworks and ensemble collaboration.”
