Help our neighbors: This fall, donate outerwear, clothing, personal items and household items to local organizations that serve our communities. Bethel's ‘Nourish Your Neighbor' has kicked off and bins are placed in area businesses for donations of healthy foods to our local pantries. Autumn is a terrific time to travel the permanent ‘Bethel Heritage Trail' (www.bethelheritagetrail.org) through local 1969 Woodstock event highlights or to complete the SCVA (sullivancatskills.com) ‘Dove Trail' photo-op drive of 50 doves in the 15 towns of Sullivan.

Bethel Woods offers “Arts in Healing” support groups on Wednesdays until October 30th. The last Thursday BW Conservatory Digital Photography Workshop is the 24th. Attend a Conservatory “Art, Music & Woodstock for Kids, Session II” for 5 weeks on Saturdays at 10am or the Museum's ‘Drop In Workshop' on Saturdays at 1 p.m. until November 23rd. Forestburgh Playhouse offers “Rocky Horror Picture Show” this Friday and interested youth can register for the last ‘Musical Theater Academy' on Saturday.

Callicoon Theater screens “Joker” on the 24th and “Downton Abbey” from the 25-28th.

Simcha Torah is celebrated on the 22nd.

There will be a ‘Teaching Artist Open House' at BW Conservatory on Friday, the 25th at 6:30 p.m.

The Bethel Youth Halloween Parade and Party with activities, trunk-or-treat, and prizes for ages 10 and under, will be held at Duggan Community Center on Saturday, the 26th, at 3 p.m. The Annual “Bethel Woods Wine Pairing and Fundraising Dinner” will be held at the Events Gallery on Saturday, the 26th at 5 p.m. $250.pp. SC Chamber Orchestra performs at Monticello's St Johns Episcopal Church on the 26th at 7 p.m. and then on the 27th at the Liberty Museum Arts Center at 3 p.m.

Enjoy ‘Halloween at the Woods', a free day of family fun and mask creation at the Bethel Woods Museum, on the 27th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
