ROSCOE – Anglers at the ready! April 1 marks the first official day of fishing season, and Trout Town USA has a few events to bring in the 2022 season. Thursday night, anglers far and wide will gather at the Rockland House for the 2022 Anglers Reunion Dinner on the eve of opening day.

On Friday morning at 7 a.m., trout fishermen will descend upon Roscoe’s Junction Pool for the annual First Cast that marks the start of the season. Last year’s First Cast event was held despite the snow flurries, hopefully this year’s Opening Day weather will be a bit warmer as anglers make their way to rivers across the county.
