Patricia Slaver, 94, of Liberty, NY, passed away on December 26, 2024, at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was born on February 26, 1930, in Utica, New York, the daughter of Cornelius Kays and Florence Whitaker.

Patricia was a dedicated bookkeeper, having worked for many organizations throughout her career, including Sullivan County Government, Aaron Meyers, and Rhulen Inc. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she was a homemaker who found joy in gardening and cooking. Always impeccably dressed, Patricia was known for her warmth, grace, and her love for socializing with friends and family. Although she loved traveling, she didn’t get to do it as much as she would have liked to, but she treasured the times she did.

Patricia was a deeply family-oriented woman who treasured her relationships with loved ones. She is survived by her son, George Slaver, and his companion, Judy Levine. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Slaver, and her sister, Nancy B. Kays.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home 275 South Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
