Paul G. Schwatz of Youngsville, NY a self employed licensed electrician and lifetime area resident died on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at home. He was 58. The son of Helen Hick Schwatz and the late Joseph Schwatz, Paul was born November 20, 1962 in Liberty, NY.

He was a member of Union Local 279 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in Newburgh, NY.

Paul is survived by his wife Jessica Wagner Schwatz at home, his two daughters Hannah Schwatz and her fiancee’ Adam Dimuno of Smallwood, NY and Tina Schwatz at home, his mother Helen Schwatz Verderber and her husband Fred of Jeffersonville, NY, his brother Thomas Schwatz of Ferndale, NY  and his sister Joanne Meislin and her husband Martin of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Jessica Schwatz, Grace Schwatz, Rachel Fagan, and Joe Hennigan, and by his great nieces and nephews Emma, Nora, Hallie, and Emilia.

Friends may call on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Georges Church, Jeffersonville, NY. Father Roland Raj will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Paul's memory may be made to the CFOS Doug Ackermann and Brenna Werlau Memorial Fund, 30 Scotts Corners Drive, Suite 282, Montgomery, NY 12549.
