DAMASCUS, PA – A question that many of us all around the globe often wonder is, where is the world headed in the not-so-distant future?

Farm Arts Collective’s up-coming performance takes a deep look at exactly this.

Named Tavern at the Edge of the World, it’s their latest installment of Dream on the Farm – a series of 10 original climate change-themed plays that will take place from 2020-2030 in response to the 10-year window scientists had suggested for global climate change mitigation.

Tavern at the Edge of the World is set to premiere August 3-7 at Willow Wisp Organic Farm in Damascus, Pennsylvania, starting at 7:30pm.

The performance will take place inside the Farm Arts Collective greenhouse, which has been transformed into a tavern for the dramatic speculative fiction set in the year 2062, just 40 years from now.

Sure to be an immersive experience for anyone attending, Tavern at the Edge of the World – created and performed by an incredible group of actors, farmers, musicians, and writers who work together under Artistic

Director Tannis Kowal-chuk’s direction – will explore and tell the story of the dystopian future, full of extreme weather patterns, fires, floods, heat, pandemics, and people learning to survive.

With live music, stilt walking, singing, and strong visual elements, it’s a performance you don’t want to miss. Tickets tend to sell quickly, so jump on to www.farmartscollective.org and grab yours as soon as you can!
