GRAHAMSVILLE –– While the Player Spotlight highlights the sports accomplishments of talented students in our Sullivan County schools, it is equally important to acknowledge their achievements in the classroom. Tri-Valley senior, Jenna Carmody, has been recognized for her academic achievements and has earned the honor of the Class of 2025 Salutatorian —one of the highest honors a student can receive at graduation.

Jenna provides softball and pitching lessons to young girls in the area and has hosted Youth Softball Clinics for Tri-Valley.

Her sports prowess has earned her several awards, including Most Valuable Player for Basketball and Softball for multiple seasons, 2024 Section IX Class C Softball Player of the Year, and Section IX Soccer Coaches Association Girls All-Stars for the 2024 season. Jenna was named one of BCANY’s Top 50 Basketball Players for the 2023-2024 basketball season. This season she has produced stellar stats on the basketball court, averaging 16.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, 6.1 steals, 2.9 assists and 1.2 blocks per game.

After graduation, Jenna plans on attending SUNY New Paltz and has committed to playing softball.
