SULLIVAN COUNTY –– With the conclusion of the regular season, the Section IX Girls Soccer playoff brackets were announced for each Class. 

The Tri-Valley girls earned the No. 1 seed and will have a first round bye while Burke (No. 4) and Sullivan West (No. 5) play in Burke on October 25. The winner will play in Tri-Valley on October 27, and the winner of that matchup will travel to Middletown HS to play against the winner of No. 2 Millbrook and No. 3 Rhinebeck/No. 6 Seward.

Eldred and Mount Academy will square off for the Section IX Class D Championship on October 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Middletown HS.

On the Boys Soccer bracket for Class B, Fallsburg will host Spackenkill on October 25 at 2 p.m. while No. 7 Liberty will travel to Our Lady of Lourdes (No. 2) for a game on the same day at the same time.

None of the Class C or Class D boys soccer teams were eligible for sectional contention this year. Neither were the Class B girls teams. Monticello also did not reach the post season for boys or girls soccer.
