JEFFERSONVILLE - Visit the Western Sullivan Public Library at the Jeffersonville Jamboree Saturday, September 18 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and meet our special guest Eric Baylin, the Sullivan County Poet Laureate.

In addition, at approximately 2 p.m. Eric will be at the Schadt Memorial Bridge to kick off the annual Duck Race with a pre-race poem! Be sure to hear Eric recite and delight the line-up of highly competitive rubber duckies before they embark on…the race of their lifetime!

Eric was an upper and middle school teacher at Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn Heights for 37 years. In his retirement, he was selected from a pool of ten worthy applicants and named the third Sullivan County Poet Laureate.
