SULLIVAN COUNTY –– Sullivan County Public Health, in anticipation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NYS Department of Health granting county health departments permission to vaccinate children 5-11 years of age, are planning community clinics in centrally located areas of the county to accommodate the largest number of children and parents possible, according to Public Health Director Nancy McGraw.
On Tuesday, CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendation that children 5 to 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine.
According to a news release on their website, the CDC now expands vaccine recommendations to about 28 million children in the United States in this age group and allows providers to begin vaccinating them as soon as possible.
McGraw told the Democrat that based on identified needs as they complete the larger clinics, Public Health will identify additional locations to ensure equitable access.
“Currently we are slated to begin vaccinating children ages 5-11 (and 12-17 who have not yet had a vaccine) at: the Monticello Firehouse, Monticello; Sullivan County PHS - Liberty; and the Delaware Youth Center - Callicoon,” said McGraw. “More to follow as the dates are confirmed.”
According to McGraw, decisions were made as a team based on the following:
• Public Health will not displace school activities during or after school, or community groups using schools.
• All parents and children will be able to attend any of the clinics.
• Public Health has selected to begin vaccination PODS at community locations that are easily accessible to the largest number of individuals in the county.
• All of the community locations Public Health selects are and will be within easy walking distance for parents/children with transportation issues.
“If we find there are specific concerns, we will work with the county to discuss transportation options to bring families to our clinics,” said McGraw.
She added that first and second dose COVID-19 Vaccination clinics for Children ages 5-11 are scheduled for: Friday, November 19 and December 10 from 2-7:30 p.m. at the Monticello Fire House, 23 Richardson Ave., Monticello; Wednesday, November 24 from 2-6 p.m. and Wednesday, December 15 from 2-6 p.m. at Sullivan County Public Health Services, 50 Community Lane, Liberty; and Tuesday, November 23 and December 14 from 2-6 p.m. at the Delaware Youth Center, 8 Creamery Rd., Callicoon.
Public Health also has Moderna vaccines and are scheduling weekly booster clinics in Liberty at their building.

PARENTS: Please think twice before subjecting your young children to "vaccines" that haven't even been tested for two years. No one will tell you the short and long range complications that may occur and if you dig deep, you will find out that children RARELY get covid, that they do just fine if they do, except for just a few who die because of underlying health conditions. MORE children are dying from the "vaccines" than covid! As I said, dig deep and you will find reports, statements, videos from health experts who know these "vaccines" are not necessary and are in fact very dangerous. Don't be afraid to question what the government is ordering you to do. YOU decide, after educating yourself, as to what is best for YOUR children. Thank you. Last night on TV I watched yet another sobbing parent falling apart because his child died from complications FROM THE COVID SHOT.

BTW, you must remember how Biden, Pelosi and others stated "There will be NO vaccine mandates" not too long ago. You can easily find articles, videos, etc. showing them saying that. What changed?
QUESTION the real reason they are imposing their will on citizens (but not on people here ILLEGALLY, no mandates for them) Wake up, America.
