Radio Catskill announces 2021 Community Awards Recipients 

Honors “Healthcare Heroes” at event on September 30

JEFFERSONVILLE - Radio Catskill, public radio for the Catskills and Northeast Pennsylvania, announces its 2021 Community Awards honoring “Healthcare Heroes” for making a difference in their communities through extraordinary contributions in the face of uncertainty.

The honorees who will be recognized at the September 30 ceremony are:

Jonathan Schiller, Chief Executive Officer & Suzanne Lange, Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Patient Services, on behalf of Garnet Health Medical Center-Catskills

Frederick Jackson, Executive Director, Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers, on behalf of Wayne Memorial Hospital & Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers

Nancy McGraw, Director, Sullivan County Public Health

Amanda Langseder, Executive Director, Sullivan 180

Julie Pisall, Founder, The Kingfisher Project

“There are countless professionals and volunteers who have worked tirelessly these past eighteen months,” says Radio Catskill Board President Kirsten Harlow Foster. “We hope many of our listening community will join us on September 30 in recognizing these inspiring representatives of all our health care heroes and pay homage to a community that has rallied together during these difficult times.”

The 2021 Community Awards take place from 5 –7 p.m. at The Barn at Callicoon Hills, 1 Hills Resort Road, Callicoon Center.
