Volleyball
Chester 3, Fallsburg 0
Chester (2-4, 2-2) defeated Fallsburg (0-9, 0-7) last week by set scores of 25-15, 25-1, 25-14. For Fallsburg, Ceci Mancia had 2 digs, 1 assist, 1 ace and 2 service points, Maritza Rivas Joya had 4 kills, 5 digs, 1 ace and 2 service points and Iyanna Smith had 1 dig, 2 aces, 6 service points and 1 block.
M-V 3, Monticello 0
The Panthers (4-6, 2-4 OCIAA) fell to Minisink Valley in three sets (21-25, 18-25, 21-25) on Friday. Stat leaders for Monticello were Emily LaRuffa with 15 digs, nine aces, seven kills, one block and one assist; Katelyn Babcock with two kills and two blocks, an ace and a dig; Lauryn Grodin had five aces and a dig. Cayshla Herrera had 11 assists, three kills, an ace, a dig and a block; Nyreka Forrest had three kills and an assist, and Renee Schreiber had 12 digs, three assists and a kill.

Tri Valley/Fallsburg (2) vs Port Jervis (5)
Port Jervis 5, Fallsburg/T-V 2
The Fallsburg/Tri-Valley girls tennis team fell to Port Jervis, 5-2, last week. Jasmine Irwin earned an 8-6 singles win for Fallsburg/T-V and the team of Gabrielle Pantel/Amaya Rupprecht earned a dominant 8-1 doubles win for Fallsburg/T-V.
