Richard A. Gould of Livingston Manor, NY, a retired food service worker and a lifelong area resident died Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Friedwald Center for Rehab. and Nursing Facility in New City, NY.  He was 74.

The son of the late Willis E. and Marion D. Drake Gould, he was born March 7, 1950 in Middletown, NY.

Richard proudly served Our Country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, he enjoyed reading and watching sporting events on TV.

Survivors include his wife Pearl A. Howlett Gould, at home; one son, Robert A. Gould and spouse Jessica of Livingston Manor, NY; one daughter, Marion Phipps and spouse Dawn of Evansville, TN; four grandchildren, Samantha, Robert, Jr., Joseph, and Jaida; and one great-grandson, Jace.

Graveside service will be Monday, August 5, 2024 at 1 PM in the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY. The Rev. ElizaBeth Nebrasky will officiate.

Dignified cremation is being provided by Harris Crematorium, LLC.

Burial with military honors will be in the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
